Green Living
Green Living is an area dedicated to producing local, buying local and eco-living. The area will feature interactive displays from local groups and businesses that can help us all learn to live greener. Great information will be available for Transition Local/New Braunfels Community Garden, Bob’s Organic Garden and Bohemian Bounty – along with others! What a great compliment to the adjacent Farmer’s Market! Interested in participating? Email to obtain the application form and return it by April 16th – limited space is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Wine Tasting
Enjoy an amazing variety of wines from Texas and Germany. Selected wines are available for tasting during the event at multiple tents manned by volunteers from local associations and businesses. Tickets for five tastings may be purchased at the Wine Market, and a commemorative wine glass is also included in the ticket price!
Wine Market
After tasting the fantastic variety of wines available, event attendees have the opportunity to purchase their favorites and other wine-related merchandise in a market atmosphere hosted by New Braunfels Main Street Partners, a non-profit foundation. Proceeds from the market assist in future preservation and promotion of historic downtown New Braunfels.
Grape Stomp
Anyone who remembers I Love Lucy recalls the episode where Lucy wanders off to a vineyard and is ordered by forceful Italian women to crush grapes with her feet in a wine vat. Well, Main Street Partners helps to recreate that hilarious scene each year with our Grape Stomp! We even have the dress and wig for you to wear, if you are so inclined! Enjoy squishing the grapes between the toes, then put your purple soaked footprints on a commemorative t-shirt. Be sure and bring your camera and join the fun.
